MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY


All male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and such male descendants of veterans who died in service during World I, World War II, and Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, and the Persian Gulf War, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article IV, Section I, of the National Constitution of The American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service, shall be eligible for membership in the Sons of The American Legion.
There shall be no forms or class of membership except an active membership.  Dues are $10.00 for juniors (applicants under 18 years of age) and $25.00 for adults.

Legionnaires are eligible for membership in the Sons of the American Legion under the same eligibility criteria established for SAL.  Dues are $15.00 for dual members.

Please enclose $25 as annual membership dues. For more information send an e-mail to SAL Squadron 176.
Proof of eligibility verification may be required upon request.
